What does loyalty mean to you? The sad thing is loyalty doesn’t mean anything to those who only have themselves in mind. There is no gray area with loyalty. You are either loyal completely or you’re not loyal at all. I’ve heard the saying that some people are not loyal to you, yet loyal to their need of you and once their need changes, so does their loyalty.

Whether it’s your relationship, friendship, team or career, you should be loyal. Once someone knows you are not loyal, it makes it difficult to be in your presence because they know the true you. You should not pretend to be one thing in someone’s presence and then be someone else while not in their presence. The biggest thing to remember is disloyalty always shows it’s face. You will not prosper trying to gain from being disloyal to others. Often times disloyalty surfaces from jealousy. Truth be told, jealousy is real and loyalty is rare!
